Meet Our New Recycling Robot at Jackson Community Branch!
The Jackson Community Branch of Stark Library has a brand new helper — and it’s not
your average recycling bin. Thanks to a little creativity and a lot of community spirit,
we’ve repurposed a mail drop box into a Robot Electronics Recycling
Bin!
This friendly “recycling robot” is here to make it easier than ever for residents to
responsibly recycle small electronics — and every item you drop in helps support the
library directly.
How It Works:
– Bring in your old laptops, cell phones, tablets, and other small electronics.
– If it fits through the robot’s opening, it can be recycled!
– Summit e-Waste will make a donation to the Library of .05/lb. for all items collected from the bin.
Each donation not only keeps harmful materials out of landfills but also
Each donation not only keeps harmful materials out of landfill, but also generates support for the Jackson Community Branch.
Why It Matters
Libraries are more than just books — they’re community hubs, learning spaces, and
gathering places. By recycling your old tech here, you’re giving back twice: once to the
environment, and once to the library that serves you and your neighbors.
